MTSS - Shipping / Payment Information

Shipping Methods

We ship via CanPar Courier, U.P.S., or Canada Post to most destinations in Canada. To the United States, we ship via Federal Express ground service, U.P.S., or Canada Post. If the customer requires next day delivery, we use Federal Express or UPS. Shipping rates for next day delivery via FedEx and UPS are at a higher rate. We would be pleased to quote shipping cost to you before you make any purchase.

Holding Items

Items requested to be held for combined shipping with other items must be paid for first, or at the time we receive them to stock.

Damaged Goods

If goods arrive damaged we must be informed within 48 hours of receiving them, otherwise no refund or replacement will be given.

Taxes

Ontario	Shipments will be charged 5% GST and 8% PST unless a tax exemption form has been presented by the customer.
Other Provinces	Only 5% GST will be charged (and HST if applicable).
Outside Canada	Canadian sales taxes do not apply.

Payment Methods

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Money Order, Certified Cheque, and Personal Cheque. We do not charge your credit card until goods are ready for shipment to you. Charges on your credit card will show as a purchase from either Maitland Toy Soldier Shoppe or Ron Daniels Antiques. Purchases made with a personal cheque are held until your cheque clears the banking system.

United States Customers

When making payment via credit card, the exchange rate is converted by the credit card company at the time of purchase and will show in US dollars on your monthly statement. United States customers may also pay with a personal cheque in US dollars. If paying with a personal cheque, we will quote you a complete price in US dollars when you order. Goods will be held until your cheque clears the banking system.
